Wonder, wonder, ponder(old)

Wonder, wonder, ponder(old)

A Poem by Heather Christine

Wonder, wonder, ponder
These things rush through my mind.
Little. Pesky. Rodents.
Why won't they leave me alone?

Will you be him?
My knight in shining armor?
Rescue me!
Take me far away.

I lie awake at night...
I wonder, wonder, ponder
So restless, so... awake.
I beg for sleep to come

Still wonder, wonder, ponder.
What will silence such thoughts?
Will you?
I long to know all.

So I sit here...
Wonder, wonder, ponder
And watch it play out?
No interference?

What shall come?
We will see...
