It’s been a while since I’ve been out,

Gazing into the mirror with endless doubt,

Remembered the lies that covered my fate,

Remembered the moments, remembered the dates…

 

Searching deep down inside,

Searching the scars that I still hide,

Searching the pains that I still feel,

Searching the names that remain, unrevealed…

 

Looking at the shadows moving away,

Counting the countless, endless days,

Trust in here, is really quite rare,

For I’m left alone, hanging there…

 

I feel the earth, from beneath my feet,

Stars dimming and falling onto me,

It’s too late for me to move,

Yes it’s too late for me to witness dawn…

 

I came across, a dried up sea,

I felt the water vapors gawking at me,

This wasn’t the place it once used to be,

Everything changed…including me…

 

Yea, this wasn’t the place, were I belonged,

Faded lights, rotten wines and images torn,

Blurred visions and empty breaths,

Now what can be more better than death…?

 

Ahh the time finally arrives,

Failed attempts, failed tries,

Now there’s no need to close my eyes,

As the lights have already begun to die…
