Little Sarah's Holiday Prayer

Little Sarah's Holiday Prayer

A Poem by Becky
"

I wrote this poem because every holiday in my father and step-mother's home, they would argue or fight with each other. The holidays were never a happy time for us.

"
I know I haven't been
a little angel this year, but I
tried really hard. I didn't know
that a peanut butter and jelly
sandwich doesn't belong in the
N.C.R, it fit. Daddy got really mad
that day. It made daddy and mommy
argue. Shh, I was supposed to be napping.
I didn't mean to spill my juice of the carpet. Later
after mommy put me to bed, I
heard the arguing about the spill.
Shh, I was supposed to be
sleeping. I am sure there are lots
of other things I have done, because
mommy and daddy argue a lot. I
just don't remember what those things
are. All I want for Christmas is for
mommy and daddy to stop arguing
and to love each other again.
So that they can love me again.
I really am a good little girl.
