The Truth About Love

If love were all there was to the world

I would follow you to the end;

Give up everything-- Just to be with you

 

If love were all there was to the world

I would live for you-

I would die for you-- and only you

 

But alas-

There is more than love

There is Hate and Fear

Honour and Shame

Greed and Lust

Pride and Prejudice

Pain and Agony

And love connot conquer these

For love does not conquer all
