Hand-in-Hand

When you cry it saddens me

When someone walks by you wipe away your tears with your shirt

You say you're fine but it’s clear to see

You tell me you're fine but I can tell that you're hurt

The way you smile can fool many

But when I look in your eyes the sadness is clear

Please tell me what people did this to you if any

Is it me, do you not want me near

I’m here for you no matter how big or small the issues

Just please tell me what's wrong and it will all end soon

If it’s hard to say i’ll make sure to have tissues

I know music makes you happy, we can play a little tune

I know this is hard and even if I don't understand

I will help you fight it hand-in-hand
