The Horrors from the Sea

The Horrors from the Sea

A Poem by Tim Lawless
"

Something I wrote kind of spur of the moment, based on H.P. Lovecraft's Chtulhu mythos.

"

Join with me.

Come and witness the end.

As the sun falls into the ocean,

And awakens the horros in the sea.

As the oceans burn away,

We welcome the end.

As we dance upon the graves of dead gods,

What can we expect but retribution?

This is it.

Karma's come to collect.

Now fix your gaze and don't be afraid,

When you see that dreaded silhouette on the horizon.

The elder gods come back to collect what is rightfully theirs.

And the old ones anticipate the slaughter.

Never ours to begin with,

Planet earth is theirs once more,

Karma has come to collect,

Dread Cthulhu is at your door.
