Fixated

Fixated

A Poem by Roberta Weth
"

more old poetry

"

I stand alone on a cliff

My eyes fixed upon the moon

Arms stretched to the sky

This, is as close as I can get

The moon smiles down

His eyes outshine the stars

He listens to me

But never answers

Why would he?

He has the stars for company

And I am just a girl

Staring at the moon

Funny,

How he can be trillions of miles away

And just across the room

I like this. Stretching, reaching, dreaming of the moon. And I am just a girl, staring at the moon. Very nice.

Nice perspective. I enjoyed the images throughout, and it kept me into the flow of it very well. I liked it overall.
