Conscripted at Birth

Conscripted at Birth

A Poem by Rem Sevven

"
Conscripted at birth,
To fight for my worth.
My role was decreed,
But I disagreed.

Why is it right,
That we need to fight?
We kick and we scream.
We are not what they deem.

You win or you lose,
and you don't get to choose.
It's my place on Earth,
and I'll decide my own worth.

Very powerful way of describing ones rebellion to the circumstances they were born under.
