A Poem by Oren Giovanni

And they all think its best for me,
That you've gone on a trip, and nothing more.
There is nothing more, that i could learn, than the fact that iv'e lost a reason to live.
And i'll ask myself where i want to go, On a trip, or a world where your body is rooted to the soil.
I'll look for motives to move, speak, and adjust myself, when they come to me,
Asking,
Are you okay?
Yes i'm fine,
She's the one who's not here. I still am, so i'm obviously not in any harm.
They need to see, that this staircase you've introduced to me, it never ends.
but i'm hoping on the next step, i'll see you sitting, waiting for me to hold you and tumble down,
Down here,
Where i can reach you again.

I liked the theme... You depicted feelings very clearly. You have a good writing style...
Keep it up!
Good Luck!

Ahh, the pain of losing someone we love, and the perpetual pull and tug in our heart wanting to be together. I can identify with these sentiments.

you're so weird
I've never lost a loved one, But attempting to write, as if i have, makes it feel so much more real. Makes it feel as if it has happened.

I'm a regular kind of different. I'm 18 and have no confidence in my writing really, people seem to like it, but as long as it puts a smile on your face, inspires you, makes you challenge me, as long .. more..
