The Silent Thoughts Racing Across This Empty Town Crashed Like Our Bodies

The Silent Thoughts Racing Across This Empty Town Crashed Like Our Bodies

A Poem by Reverent

i can hear

raindrops

dancing on

the back of

a broken truck

that's driving

us nowhere

and that's good enough

the pavement

bare now

like our bodies

i can drown

my head

between your legs

all i want

and that's good enough

and we won't even

last long enough

for me to lie

and say i love they way your body looks

...

but you already know
