A Poem by Revery

wood pile

The wood pile is like a baptism.

Purification of the soul

through

physically hard labor.

Callouses earned,

muscles burned

and

a deeper connection

to

who

I am.

It can be amongst all things, especially nature that we find the core of ourselves... hard work can manifest appreciation for our self worth, as we discover our strength within. This is a beautiful insight to the "Purification of the soul". Lovely write!
