I collect poets and poetry

and sand and time

in ebb and flow

and life and all it’s come and go.

Those kindred souls that resonate, 

instance consecrate,

floods that saturate, and

our loneliness held at bay,

if only for another day.

But everything moves on

and sand or time blows away.

Your poem reminded me of my life’s journey and how poetry has sustained me
through good and bad. The collection of poetry books is ever growing and my friends include many poets. It was my Grandfather who gifted poetry to me. What a blessing that was. I enjoyed my visit here Revery.
