polyphony
pəˈlɪf(ə)ni
noun;
The style of simultaneously combining a number of parts, each forming an individual melody and harmonizing with each other:

Major.
Coffee in the morning. My best friend's laugh. The smell of old books. The smell of new books. Books about mystery. Old photographs. Quirky hats. Fluffy jumpers. Pyjama days. Correctly paired socks. Yellow wellies. Muddy puddles. People who play the piano. My dog. Silly jokes. Humble smiles. Nostalgia. Used train tickets. Hidden meanings. The smell of the pavements after rain. Mr Whippy ice cream. Being alone. Red sky at night. Snow at Christmas. Rain on the window. Disney movies. Hugh Grant. Round glasses. Ridiculously long scarves. Even winged eyeliner. New glasses. New underwear. David Tennant's arse.
I am major.
Minor.
Children dropping ice cream. Silent crying. Nervous shaking. Smiles that never reach eyes. Old scars. Eye bags. Blue mood. No food. Feeling worthless. People eating alone. Homophobia. Family arguments. Slamming doors. Thunderstorms. Cigarette smoke. Sad drunks. Homeless people. Temper tantrums. Broken limbs. Broken heart. No heart. Nostalgia. Sad movies. Clothes not fitting anymore. Feeling cold. Not feeling anything. Misogyny. Racism. Lack of self confidence. Loneliness.
I am minor.
Presto.
Rollercoasters. Catherine wheels. Imagination. Fast internet. Shooting stars. Racecars. Morning jogs. 100 metres finals. Mountain climbers. Children playing tag. Cartwheels in the grass. School sports days. Water parks. Sugar rushes. Birthday parties. ACDC songs. Rock concerts. Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. Panic attacks. Winter. Stormy seas. Rocket ships. Motorbikes. Falling down stairs. Life. Long words. Short words. Lots of words.
I am presto.
Largo.
Half asleep conversations. Falling asleep in the middle of the day. Exhaustion. Fatigue. People reading bedtime stories. Sunsets. Moonlight. Clouds on a summers day. Heat waves. Warm blankets. Hushed voices. Stroking hair. Birds tweeting. Daytime telly. Bad head days. Depression. Deep breathing. Being underwater. Crashing waves. Summer breezes. Sunday brunches. Simple little stories.
I am largo.
We are all polyphonic people.

This is a delightful piece :). I think it could even be expanded.....to include some different chords than mere minor or major (ljke a major 7)......

And some speeds neither fast nor slow.......like Moderato......when one is merely going through the motions, sounding like a band player but just going through the motions of a monotonous score......

Love the smell after rain. [petrichor]....:).....not so sure of the pavement though....:P

I am just being truthful and your very welcome:)
Ha. Yeah... I can see why you would want people to only leave positive reviews. It makes so much more sense now that I've read you. Have a wonderful day.

(it wasn't that bad, I'm just too lazy to read you until I find something awful... we all have something awful. Or you're a liar)
