Antique Rainbows

Antique Rainbows

A Poem by Richard Guimond
"

Why see the past in black and white

"

Antique Rainbows [1]

Why see the past in black and white

Victorian age more than just sepia

Hellenistic not only white marbles

Years washed the colors memories

Mayan cities more than grey stones

So cities perched as condor's nests

Why yesterdays seems monochrome

Where did go the antique rainbows

B
The antique colors of true authenticity
Black and white killing the originality of human nature
the Mono tone to everything that we must abide a system

I see so much in your words
