![]() MorningA Poem by Richard Guimond![]() Morrning in the suburb a light and smell picture![]() Morning
Waken up
by song bird's social network broadcasting' Fresh air molecules
travel thru screen of open window Morning
dew sparkles perched on emerald grass blades Blue Jay
sounds like ungreased clothes lines mechanic Lonely
barking dog asking for opening of back door Sonic
horizon motorway rumble only human presence But
followed by far away buzz of an ol' mosquito biplane Sleepy Sun
hide its shining face behind a mountain pillow Comet jet
sound of single passing, out of place, automobile Clashing metallic
noise of tell tales closing mailbox lid Velvet
percussion of bumble bee hitting my window pane Morning
glory polluted by unfriendly neighbor's lawn mower Fresh cut
grass scent and pollen piggy back on air flow stream Time for
me to stop my contemplation and get on daily chores © 2015 Richard GuimondFeatured Review
