Morning

Morning

A Poem by Richard Guimond
"

Morrning in the suburb a light and smell picture

"

Morning

Waken up by song bird's social network broadcasting'

Fresh air molecules travel thru screen of open window

Morning dew sparkles perched on emerald grass blades

Blue Jay sounds like ungreased clothes lines mechanic

Lonely barking dog asking for opening of back door

Sonic horizon motorway rumble only human presence

But followed by far away buzz of an ol' mosquito biplane

Sleepy Sun hide its shining face behind a mountain pillow

Comet jet sound of single passing, out of place, automobile

Clashing metallic noise of tell tales closing mailbox lid

Velvet percussion of bumble bee hitting my window pane

Morning glory polluted by unfriendly neighbor's lawn mower

Fresh cut grass scent and pollen piggy back on air flow stream

Time for me to stop my contemplation and get on daily chores

I was just thinking the other day how beautiful it is to be here on WC ..... i am so lucky
I see in this poem your admiration for the word
The work of yourself and others
I could be wrong
But you have gone on this journey of happiness reading of others
It is beautiful
Makes the colors all around you that much brighter and more alive

good one Richard, reminds me of my life in London, glad to see it gone to be honest although most of this is the sounds of nature which i like but the other such man made sounds i can live without, excellent writing as always Richard, a reflection of life well depicted :)

I am a fan and this one didn't disappoint! I have the same feeling in the morning (like millions of others do) but we are not so eloquent and astute to be able to write a poem like this! Bravo!

This poem is like a a roll of film each line is a frame a poetigraph. Each came to me one by one not as imagination but as real succession of experiences as i sipped my coffee near an open window
