Walking away, stopping,

And turning back,

looking...

 

His eyes cloud with tears

His breath catches in his throat

The last look, before the leaving...

 

Goodbye sweet home... and my lover, my life.

I'm hoping... no praying, let me come back!

After life's wars and the work, let me come back!

 

No one sees his pain

Yet everyone knows the leavings

That one last look, before you go.

Such truthful lines, no one cares until the leaving starts or when you are already gone, sometimes people don't care when you leave, i've expreinced that feeling before as well, This is well put togther and very well

I have lots of windows in my mind, all that allow my brain to spill out all over the ground. That one last look is usually that lasting look. The last of the old, before the beginning of the new. It's a given....You must leave "the behind" to get "what's ahead." That does not mean that we have to like it. And that doesn't mean you drag it with you.
