I wake up early in the morning.

I look into a mirror and I know

I am a soldier at heart.

Fighting for something bigger than me,

I fight so that we all can stay free.

I know that I sacrifice my freedoms,

But for you it is not in vain.

And when I finally take my rest,

I know I will still be a soldier at heart.
