One Path; Many Discoveries

One Path; Many Discoveries

A Poem by Riverdance

Everyday we walk down

A different path

And we try to seek answers

To our own questions

There's something hiding

Around every bend and corner

That is just waiting

To be brought into this lifetime

We can never turn around

To go back

To our chosen paths

Of life from the past

But yet we continue

To turn onto new roads

For we are so concerned with the future

That we forget to exist

In the Present time.

a charming roadmap, looking down from a cloud as beings make their way

I, like you, wish people would live in the present. Me? I feel like I sometimes live in the past...and I may be one of the few people who realizes a special moment when it happens. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone appreciated the now and didn't try to seek the next?

yeah, that lively Dance where I'm neither compelled by the past nor future beckoned, but whirling feet realized on the path of infinite now, verity glittering in my eyes, listening to the language only the Heart can hear ... where there is Love there is no fear ...

your Poem flows with verities to my eye making many reflections there ... right on, Riverdance, Emily sent me

I like the journey. There is such a pleasant view.

I like your words, too.

For we are so concerned with the future plans

That we forget to exist in the present time.
........................this one is deeper. I got your point and you are so right. but to stay who we are we first need to accept ourselves. this is sometimes difficult. very nice, dear.
