Gone for good

Gone for good

A Poem by Emmy

I was a fool
To think we'd work
I always believed
In the future
But really
The future was dark.
I remember the butterflies
When near you
The smile
I always wore around you
Until you lied
You stabbed me in the back
All the days I spent
Grieving what we had
What you threw away.
I remember when I saw
You with her
And when I cried
You laughed
She laughed
And it was the end.
I'd say I want you to hurt
But then I think back
To the good times
I'm not as low as you.
I don't want others to suffer.
Then that day you came.
You wanted me back
But it was done
Your mistake was already scratched
Into my dead heart
Forever.

Yeah. Having your heart broken is the worst. Sorry to hear!
