Moving On

Moving On

A Poem by Emmy
"

The sun is setting on my time with my loved one. He's found another.

"
When I see your goofy smile
Or your reckless grin
I think of all of the great things
That we could have been

The places we'd have traveled
The sights we would've seen
But there's one little problem
It would have been mean

For you are so amazing
And deserve someone great
Who'll love you for you
Your true soul mate

Though I hate to say it
I'm not that lucky one
I hope and pray someday soon
You'll find your golden sun

This poem is heartfelt and beautifully written. I enjoyed reading it. Each line drew me to read the next. The ending felt like an ending. Not all endings do. I was also felt sympathy or perhaps empathy for the narrator of your poem. I hope all works out well for her. Thank you for sharing.

Yup! Sounds good!
This shows all about your heart feelings you got about someone you love and don't worry, I know you the luckiest one even though he's the luckiest one in the world who keeps you happy and spends some time of his life with you. This poem is very heartfelt!
