“I Was My Mothers Angel”

By Robben Wainer

Ours was a tantric love then,

Something the ladies are good at.

I learned about sex in the home,

Amidst domestic violence and rape,

I was chosen for my calling by the Mothers

Who rolled and tucked my gut underneath.

I was fit for the response of ejaculation,

As I am a river of it with all of my men who have.

Embarrassment was chaotic in the beginning

On first learning of sex in the home,

I was my Mothers angel,

A good witch and a bad witch,

With only decisions to make,

And phone calls to answer,

With hopes that I may find someone,

Someone to lean on who is not patronizing

And who can feel the rush

Beneath sad eyes,

And a wet dream.
