and an empty mind...

I rest... 

Not sure what the next line will be...

...

Fill my heart...

with dreams and hopes...

Let positive energy guide me...

beyond...

...

Look into my soul...

Find lost items...

begging for freedom...

Set them free...

...

As they rise...

grab them...

holding on tight...

letting them raise me too...

...

As I climb...

out of anguish...

Smile and pause...

Knowing it was only the moment...

...

Time is my friend...

Every breath a gift...

The day's light enthuses me...

to write another day...

This is a nice poem that put a smile on my face and put a little peace in my heart. This poem really expresses its own gratitude, if that makes any sense. And it's a good reminder to be thankful for what we have rather than frustrated at what we don't. That's a lesson I'm still trying to instill within myself.
