The fray

Today I felt like a poet

As I stared across the sea

But there were no words to my silent song

No profound truth

To sing along

Just silence

And the sea

Green sleeves are all my joy

Though blue you wear today

And great the sky

And clear the air

As we tumble

Through the fray
