Ocean of Tranquility

I wade through the waters into an ocean of tranquility
I float effortlessly upon the surface; eyes closed.
I am weightless and serene
The gentle waves carry me out to sea

Opening my eyes, I see
The stars sparkle like tiny diamonds
The moon shines her light upon the water's surface
Creating such an elegant glow in all of this darkness

Such peace to be found
When you finally stop looking
