the thing that only makes my heart beats faster 

and my mind go wild

i could only think of you 

anytime of day, you would come into my mind out of the blue

when I wake up that day 

you would be in my mind and you would never go away

And then when your not here for a while 

one of the things that I would do is smile

but you wouldn't be here forever 

you would leave me for the better 

and one day, we would never be together 

and one day, maybe, I won't be in love

then I would wish you goodbye from above 

even if we are through, even if we broke up that day 

in secret, deep inside my mind, that thought, and you, will never go away"

I appreciate this poem on a personal level. There's been a couple times where I've wished that someone I cared about still cared about me, and even though they'd no longer been a part of my life for a while, I'd still feel like I was empty without them.
I don't know if that made any sense, I'm kind of a n00b at this stuff .-.
