Trapped.

Here's another deep poem! I guess i'm just who I am... Please read my authors note after this.

I'm trapped

In a black box 

No way to get out 

Some people might say,

"What the h*** are you talking about?"

The river forming 

The tears pouring

Making the flood in the black box

I've had enough 

I don't want my life to be rough

I slam myself to the walls

But all I do is fail and fall

I can't break the walls

Even if you were big and tall

You still can't break through

The black walls.

I have to keep trying,

In this beautiful world 

I will never be as shiny as a pearl,

If I keep failing,

So i'm leaving my past

But in time,

All I can do is sigh,

And say one word...

"Goodbye."

I'm not making this poem to make you upset, I'm just saying other people feel this way...
Like me.

i loved how this poem has a lot imagery and meaning ..it also made me laugh hope this is what you were going for cos you have a very interesting style that mixes pain and humour which i love. atleast from what i can see really captures the audience well done!!!

That poem carries a lot of honesty and truth in it. It really speaks to the heart of the issue with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bi-polar, and really any issues that many of us face today. We feel we are trapped in "a black box" where we can't do anything but sit there.

I agree with you. It's a really big problem, that's why I made this poem to spread awareness, That people aren't alone on this.
Lots of people with depression say that they're trapped in a black box, Where they can't get out.
