I don't know if the picture attached to the poem represents something in particular, but wherever you got that photo.... I'm sorry for this being off topic, but she is GORGEOUS!! Since my youth, visiting hundreds of National Parks, I always had this part of me that wondered if there were real wood nymphs!! lol I know that it may sound a bit silly, but my mind does not let it go. Your poem is beautiful in the sense that if you took it to be political or beautiful, it comes full circle and just a really involved, but simple, piece to come across. There is a girl I know on Facebook named Karen Eisenlord that you remind me of when it comes to wildlife and nature. Beautiful photo... might be only the second time I comment on a photo. lol xoxo -Mark

Beautiful!! About a month or two ago, I wrote a poem about those eyes. I still have the poem, but couldn't remember where the "inspiration" came from. I could write a short story on just how powerful those gorgeous eyes of yours, are. Your poem is a perfect compliment to what feels like to be the reason I have written poetry in the past. This is a good message for the truth essence of the earth. I like the way you look at earth as a living thing, and how you mention the idea of the great Mother spirit. I also really like your rhythm and rhyme in the first four lines.
