A Poem by Alicante lullaby

You should have been there

when the 11 years old almost

eye-scolded me pouting at my ignorance

saying in the most solemn tones ever

''Stop chortling...life is a serious matter.''

this is why i love kids.

this is why i want to be one again.

i mean i have come to

totally adore their innocence,

how they can really believe that

life is a serious matter.
