FULL MOON METALLIC

Poem

 

Full moon

metallic,

captive with gleam,

illuminating, ecstatic,

     glazed with glycerine,

with sorrowful severance,

       in a circle of deference,

the  pack  of wolves, prowl,

foretelling,

cavorting, with wistful howls.

Sparse was the grass

on the muddy lawn,

descending,

through

sinewy.

dawn,

as the bedazzling

                round obstacle,

 on a drenched spring morn,

turned barely visible,

obscuring in to

a melting, distant  icicle,

dental white enamel,

whiter than life

could be durable

now   

a faint fragment, 

impassively fragile,

  consolingly, yet

still,

as ever

mystical

Wow your imagery was out of this world.... Very very very impressed im almost speechless at how awesome your imagery is, its definitely phenomenal.... the way your words moves so fluid together it felt like music reading this... and the whole format you used i loved... u are an incredible writer and i am definitely a fan now of your work... hope u will continue to write more cause ill definitely be reading. Thank you, though, I can't quite claim to be any of those wonderful things that you have mentioned, single handily, although your enthusiasm is much appreciated.....I spent some time in a state of indecision, actually deciding, what imagery to utilise in this poem....I might create a new piece relating to the imagery which I have not yet used, much thanks :) Best.

Simultaneously etheric and earthy. You should stand in the full moonlight and read it to her, I`m sure she would be impressed, just like any mother would be when one of her children writes her a poem.

Your welcome. With the moon in the earth element and being influenced by Venus (Grecian goddess of love) and ruling planet of the heart chakra. Its the perfect occasion to reflect on her loving motherly influence and our connection with it. Perhaps thats why you were compelled to post this!
