Look Away, I'm Weeping

Look Away, I'm Weeping

A Poem by S. Janszen

My heart will not stop racing.
I truly wish it would,
For surely I am feeling things,
I never thought I could.
Euphoria, it drowns me.
It breaks my heart to say,
That I have all this feeling,
And you're leaving me today.
Breath comes all too quickly.
My lungs want ever more.
I cannot fix this problem.
You've stabbed my very core.
Look away, I'm weeping.
My walls, they would not hold.
Your charm, your eyes, your everything,
They've made me much too bold.

You never cease to amaze by mastering my limitations. Here I am barely paying attention to structure past rhythm and you come up with this. I bow to the master, and leave it at that.
