Resolution

Resolution

A Poem by S. Janszen

With eyes as dark as tempestuous sea,
Filthy hands that partook in malevolent deeds,
Tongue as sharp as sword cannot be,
She finally surrenders.

With ears that have heard a woman's wails,
Legs that traveled yet always failed,
Heart that has loved naught but what ails,
She finally surrenders.
