I Am Nothing But A Tree

I Am Nothing But A Tree

A Poem by the.infamous.poet
"

This poem was inspired by some trees i found so interesting whilst walking. The trees looked beautiful yet so very solemn and their branches were long and entangled with other branches.

"

Slowly burn my tangled branches

My leaves have abandoned me

Skies that once glowed with youth

Are a despondent clouded dead sea

Wash my twisted mind of rusted gold

Let the wind and rain envelope me

The smile of a crescent moon

Detached from the space of nobody

Sing the songs of my laughing crest

That bleed a soulful part of me

Find my fragmented remnant of glass

Shadows are following the unseemly

But i am nothing but a tree...

This is beautiful. You have clearly given life to the tree with the way you arranged your flowery words. Great read. Thanks for sharing!
