The Moon's Light

The Moon's Light

A Poem by Salveo Fireblood

With the moon full, a drastic light of purity sends down its glorious
haze of enchantment and wonder. I lie down in the rowboat and watch the
stars play with my planet like a crystal ball to tell me what my path is
to be. But for now I shall admire the gorgeous might of the gods and
goddesses and bless the one I love whom waits for me in bed with the
wafting breeze caressing her soft, sensual body with the window open the
way it is tossing the sheets about her like waves through the pond in
which I sit. Frogs and crickets sing me to sleep on this night, for it
is the way nature drifts me to sleep with it's melodious lullabies.
