Speak Speechless

Speak Speechless

A Poem by Samantha
"

What's a girl to do when she wants to approach a guy.

"

So, what do I say
How do I approach you
I want you
Maybe you feel the same toward me

Either way
I need to know what to say
When I step into your space

Do you like your girl to smile
Or approach you real quiet

I can do serious
If that's really what you're feeling.

Either way I need to know now
What I need to say
When I step into your space.

Do you want your chick aggressive
Or to step back and let you take the lead
I make the first move and approach you
Then relax and let you be bad

I can huddle around my girls
Send one of them over
Let you know what's up

Or I can just do Sam
And step to you straight up
Either way
I need to know what I need to say
When I finally step into your space.

It's been a long time coming
You and I have danced this danced
Smiled and misdirected eye contact

But I'm feeling myself
A sister's feeling a little bold

I'm heading in your direction
So I really need to know

What I need to say
As I step into your space~
