Math is my specialty

I can add, subtract, multiple, divide

Whatever problem, I can solve it 

Now this comes with a curse

There are the undeniable facts

1+1=2

2>1

2-1=1

These numbers are undeniable in math

And yet

They are familiarly used in relationships as well

Except one fact that is false in the realm of math as well as relationships

 A common misconception 

1>2

My mathematical brain and short-circuiting heart fight with each other everyday

This is wrong

This is right

Two is greater than one

Single is better than taken

One needs one to be two

One doesn’t need anyone

These are the undeniable facts

One plus One is Two

Two is greater than One

Two minus One is One

Anything else is questionable
