A Poem by Sammie Sanchez
"

:/

"
blue is the sky
my life is the sky
clouds are my eyes
vast
grass can die
green to yellow then nothing
the ground bare
empty
house parties are loud
colors and music
the bass through my body
sway
close the clouds
the bare ground can die
just sway

This piece is very whimsical and poetic. I like the way that the theme flows throughout.
