cool your jets

cool your jets

A Poem by Sar Jayne

she gave me
as i talked
            quite a blank stare
nonsensical little facts
            about me from my lips
ignorance truly is best and
from what i hear i am not
i taught myself impatience
            and vulgarity
nonsensical little facts
            buzzing around my head
get ready to smack the pests
   crush the gibberish
she must think me and
                       idiot
                     fool
                  flirt
             hypocrite
i am
                  one crack at a time
trying not to show the real me
under my skin
            because i know anyone
                   in their right mind
should think me an
                     idiot
                  fool
              flirt
         hypocrite
