Trip To Six Flags

Trip To Six Flags

A Poem by Sunflower/Sara Kendrick

The view is not breathtaking

Nor is the day blessed with brilliant sun

The van is warm with love astonishing

As children converse and have fun

Cody tops the list as the one brawny

Caitlyn has a personality captivating

Emily smiles even with eyes balmy

Robbie quietly fits into group amazing

Caleb is hardly heard above the den

Occasionally his voice chimes in

Pamela their mother speaks little, but when

She speaks with meaning the children listen

A-ha- Great Adventure an outing in itself. Sounds
like one of my trips to Six Flags, great imagery...

Oh, I had missed this one! Yes, on the coldest of days, there is nothing more warming, more joyful than a gathering of people filled with love. I was so glad to know your trip had gone well. You were there with the next generation of leaders. May they lead this world to a better sunrise.

This brings to mind my childhood with my family going on a cool trip somewhere. Good memories. This is a really nice good feel poem. I like it!

This rhymes perfectly. All the young people shine in this with their unique personalities and all adding their own sort of fun to the trip!
