We Wish

We wish upon the moon:

 To get us out of the world

  and out of trouble

   it doesn't happen

 

We wish upon the moon:

 To guide us through the night

  it sometimes obliges

 

We wish upon the moon:

 To bring two hearts together

  In the hope that our lover

   is looking at the moon too

We can wish and hope for it 

 

We wish upon the moon

 But if we don't believe

  in its Creater

We will get nowhere
