Amidst the darkness, you called my name.

just for a moment i felt no pain.

a sweetness that fed my soul

AS i began to walk away.

they shouted at me to stay, they say have you gone crazy?

i turn around to try to explain , they tell me that i am going insane.

I try to find a way to prove this feeling

nothing works, i just grow weary.

then you voice again takes me..

this time i walk away, they cant make me stay..

they shout, they scream, they become soo mean,

you've lost your mind, truth you will never find.

Away from the darkness i kept on walking and followed your voice

I can hear their judgement from a mile away, as  i give thanks to you that i chose not to stay.

your sweetness so much better than the darkness

you held my hand and comforted me,

i was scared, but you were always there.

your love surrounded me and i rested in your truth.

I couldn't prove to them to follow what they didn't feel,

I couldn't make them hear what they said was not real.
