In Between Worlds

In Between Worlds

A Poem by Sarah Hampton
"

My worlds collided.

"

Head spinning

Extremities tingling

Just one tour of Mill City

Makes me dizzy

For I've lived several lives

I’ve died many deaths

Still some pains I'll carry

'til my last breath

Bringing you here I realize

The only pride

I can claim here

Is to have survived

I really like this, however with my honest opinion I would maybe suggest keeping everything in the same tense. "I can claim here is to have survived" is a little harsh to my ears, doesn't quite ring. Other than that, I enjoy your use of emotionally rich words. Keep it up

Beautiful choice of words you've come up with. Very passionate art i've found in your pieces. I believe, in love-life.. everyone lives several lives & dies countless deaths, for no reason. Liked the structuring of your deepen words. Great job!
