About Me

Hello! I never really know how to describe myself, I tend to think this is because my view is limited to being the one on the inside looking out. All I can really say is I've been writing poetry since I was twelve and now that I'm in my early thirties with ten years in Emergency Medical Services under my belt, I suddenly have a lot to say, so I'm taking the plunge into short stories. Hopefully my writing will be able to reveal more.

I love to read, anything and everything! Feel free to send me read requests of any genre. I'm not certain of my editorial skills but I'm honest & straightforward.

As a female paramedic in a busy system I have certainly grown a thick skin, so please feel free to review openly and honestly. I truly appreciate anyone who takes the time and will try to repay the favor as soon as possible. Thanks =)

For My Ben:
As I sit here in the midnight hour, watching the moonlight diamonds dancing on the water, illuminating the path between you and I, I can hear the twenty-somethings down at the beach. I flashback to when you and I were that young, brazenly taking on the world. To that summer night we were sweating it out in the crowded third floor apartment at some lame party. Until you dared brazenly, as only you could, suggest we take the party to the beach. And did-we-ever! We stormed Nahant Beach, all of us in our undies or less, having the time of our lives. Living as though we were never going to die.
On this day, the day of your rememberance, nine years from the worst day of my life, I remember you, all of you. Thank you for having lived a life of love and laughter, it makes carrying you with me that much lighter.
