Old Flames Still Linger in the Dark

Old Flames Still Linger in the Dark

A Poem by Sarah Renee

He walk, He talks
He sits and stares,
but deep inside, no one is there.

I've poked, I've pried
to no avail.
What's locked within?
He'll never tell.

In his eyes, only I can see.
That some where he holds
a part of me.

It had been forever,
but there was a spark.
It lit up in his beating heart.

Our time was short, too soon to end.
Good-Bye for now my dearest friend.
He slowly turned and walked away.
Once again it was,
until "Someday".

Author's Note

Sarah Renee
It's late and I just started rambling. It is probably no good but oh well I got bored.
