The Way I Feel

         

 I can't pretend anymore on how I feel.. I put a shield to protect my feelings.. I slip into a trance thinking all guys are the same...   

The same remedy plays constantly in my head.. 

when I think of you I seem to come out the trance.   

I feel confused, but also aware.. 

I've been down this trail before and I've taken the wrong way many times 

so I play it safe and choose no direction.. 

I remain neutral on how I feel and let nothing you say impact me. I can't help the way I feel, but I can control what I feel.
