I was sitting in the air, driving my aereomovile of course, heading to the office. Today was like any other day, grayish outside, sunny inside here. I just left Genee at her work because her car had broken down and hadn't a way to transport. We accorded that occationally I had to take her, because the place were she worked was on the intesection of the seventh street and sixth avenue, which was the way I allways took to the office.

I activated the automatic pilot for a couple of minutes. The route was already stored on the computer's memory and that gave me some time to think about the meeting I had today. I turned to the window and at the bottom, on the ground, I could behold the picturesque Nova Naturae avenue, which was ten blocks from my wife's work. And to think that ten years ago was a decrepit old city street. Now you could see people walking, so many, so small. That was the place where they came to relax from so hectic urban life.

Getting to the fifth street, I saw the top of the building, one humbly high yet architecturally beautiful. It had large balconies coming out into the street, with many beds were green leafy vines hung. My father told me that the structure of the building was compound by parabolic and hyperbolic curves, specially the upper structure, paraboloid shaped. As a child, at the same time the building was constructed, I used to say that it seemed as if architects had taken some pants and had cut off the ends. My dad just laughed every time he said that, and said that I was right. Since then that structure was nicknamed "The Pants of the Building".

When there were only three blocks left I deactivated the automatic pilot, descended to the ground and lowed down the velocity. It was eight in the morning and land traffic started to make felt its presence.

I arrived at the entrance of the underground parking and greeted the guardian of the entrance. He answered me with a "good morning engineer Dargo" and with a very friendly smile. I got out of the vehicle and it automatically entered to parking lot. Then about entering to the lobby of the building, a boy about ten years old came up to me. He had a humble countenance on his face, old clothes and a backpack worn from use.

Me I clean your shoes, sir?” Said and took some instruments out of his backpack.
