Tired

Tired

A Poem by SimplyDisastrous

Tired

Been tired all my life

Hell, I can barely handle this strife

This strife that involves making those around me content

I don’t need your permission; I don’t need your consent

So, why can’t I just sleep?

I just want to fall into a slumber, a sleep so deep.

Eyelids are drooping, the sound of the shore in mind.

So, give me a hint, give me a sign.

But, wait, no. I’m in class.

I must’ve forgotten that whatever sleep I catch will not last.

SimplyDisastrous
I actually wrote this in class last week. Geometry class. I was upset so I just did what I usually do when I'm upset: Went on a full on writing spree. I didn't post the rest yet but I will soon.

About
Hey. I used to be on here alot when I was 15. Now, not so much. I'm 18 now and I'm not nearly as depressing as I used to be, but still depressing enough. Message me and feel free to read my old poems... more..
