scandalous request

A Poem by Mason Vail

Do you know what you are asking?

said the maiden to the man,

It's the only thing I cherish,

Give it up, I never can!

I have had it all my lifetime,

I'll defend it 'til I die,

I don't know how you could use it -

We're connected, it and I.

Do not think you can just take it,

I will struggle here or there,

Get away with those foul scissors!

I just won't give up my hair!

I liked it- it was a cute and clever ditty- it reminded me of Goldilocks- it put a smile on these demonic lips...
