"disasters" make the best memories

"

"What were you thinking?!"

becomes cherished memory

of my dear children

About halfway through giving my little girl an unscheduled shower at someone else's house after she'd split a full bottle of "shampoo" (actually strongly-scented hand lotion) with her playmate, I found myself cataloging the incident in my "stories to tell when she's a teenager" mental files. I wonder what parents of boring kids remember when they're older...

I love this and it is very true. My mom loves to tell me stories about when I was younger and what I use to do. They always become memories and something in time you can always laugh about. Nicely done.
