Reminiscence

A poem with simple words but convincing.

A thousand memories,

A thousand images,

A million words flashed back

I smiled and sighed,

I thought about how things changed,

And the realization that,

People love but leave,

I laughed and remembered,

The moments lost, 

And the empty love,

You get so happy about,

A tear trickles down my cheek,

And I wonder,

If its of happiness or sadness,

    I hope its of happiness.
