this brooding does not become me

an ill-fitting suit 

dark rotting burlap

the sleeves too long and

perpetually damp

i drip on the floor

i drip on the rug
my friends bring out towels

when I come calling

How I love your work. It has to be read twice to understand the meaning underneath and not just the surface one. Thank goodness that your poetry isn't hard to understand. I have read many like that that are unbearable.

I felt this meaning in this, as thoughtfulness weighs the writer down. I feel how the moodiness doesn't become those who surround the thinker. Quite a wistful and melancholy piece of work.

The font fits this very well. There's some sense of mechanical, emotionless droning to this. Droning in a good way. I felt like the shortness and the simplicity came together perfectly. Good work.
